Another YouTube video is becoming viral. The "Christopher Lao Floating Car" video is a clip from GMA-7's 24 Oras showing a car bravely treading the flood waters in Mother Ignacia St. in Quezon City.
The car floated, not being able to hold it in the deep flood. Bystanders immediately came to the rescue, though, guiding the car to the other side of the flood.
The car's driver, Christopher Lao, blamed the traffic enforcers of the area for not blocking the flooded road. He didn't think the flood was that deep, as there was no way of telling it from afar. He also partly blamed the bystanders for not even telling him the flood couldn't be crossed.
"Nobody even stopped. Nobody informed. It's like people were waiting for somebody to just do that," Lao further said referring to his attempt to cross the flood with his car. "I should have been informed."
Christopher Lao is a student of the University of the Philippines College of Law.
