The Ides of March has released its first trailer and poster at Yahoo! Movies. George Clooney writes/directs/stars in the film which is an adaptation of the Beau Willimon play "Farragut North."
The political drama also stars Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Marisa Tomei, Jeffrey Wright, and Evan Rachel Wood.
Synopsis:
During the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary, an up-and-coming campaign press secretary finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate's shot at the presidency.
The Ides of March is set for release October 7, 2011.
