Maria Aragon Releases Self-Titled Debut Album

Filipino-Canadian YouTube sensation Maria Aragon, who arrived in Manila last month, has finally released her very own record album produced by Star Records. Self-titled, the album features the Lady Gaga song Born This Way, one of Maria's most successful covers.

Other songs in the album are You're My Home, I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing, Follow Your Dream, Can't Smile Without You, Kung Bubuksan Mo Lang ang Puso and One Hope, One Dream.

Maria Aragon made headlines when she shared the stage with Lady Gaga during the superstar's Canada concert. Lady Gaga was reportedly so moved by Maria's rendition of her song that she invited the young singer to perform with her on the concert.

2011 MTV VMAs List of Winners

Katy Perry took home the Video of the Year award for Firework at the recent 2011 MTV Video Music Awards which took place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles last Sunday, August 28 ET/PT. She also won Best Special Effects and Best Collaboration (with Kanye West) for E.T.

Katy tied with Adele who also won three awards including Best Editing, Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography for Rolling in the Deep.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga won the Best Female Video and Best Video with a Message for Born This Way.

Lady Gaga's "Yoü and I" - Music Video and Lyrics

The "Mother Monster" Lady Gaga has just premiered the music video for the single Yoü And I. The song was released as the fourth single from her second studio album, Born This Way.

Yoü And I was written by Lady Gaga herself. It samples Queen's We Will Rock You with Brian May on electric guitar.

Lady Gaga debuted the song last year at Elton John's White Tie and Tiara Ball.
