Andi Eigenmann Blogs About Her Baby's Father

Months after she admitted she was pregnant, Andi Eigenmann revealed the father of her child through her blog. Albie Casiño was named in one of her posts, although it was later edited and replaced with the words "the baby daddy (-_- really?)."

On the third paragraph of her September 4 post titled #welliwasneverreallytheconventionaltype, Andi originally wrote:

Maybe instead of feeling bad that Albie left me to take on this responsibility by myself, I should thank him for giving me the opportunity go out and find genuine happiness once again. I'd obviously love for him to be around eventually. You know, to save myself the struggle to find a good way to explain his absence to his child. At the same time, I'd understand. Cus after all, I have no idea who or what kind of a person all the fame and fortune has turned him into now. All I hope is that he's well.

Even before she made the post, though, people have always speculated that Albie was the father of the unborn since he was Andi's boyfriend when she got pregnant. It actually stained the wholesome image of the actor, and perhaps it was the reason why he was pulled out on some (if not all) of his acting projects that had been given to him before the news about Andi's pregnancy broke out.

Eventually, Albie was seen on Maalaala Mo Kaya and 100 Days to Heaven episodes. There were also reports that he would star in the TV adaptation of Problem Child where he would act opposite Cherie Gil, the original star of the movie who is also Andi's aunt. Recent talks, though, says that Albie will no longer be in the show. His role, according to the grapevine, had already been given to Paulo Avelino.

In the recent Star Magic Ball, Albie and Paulo seemed to be in good terms as evident in the photo below.

Albie Casiño Stars in "Problem Child"

And we thought Albie Casiño won't have acting projects anymore after he was pulled out of Growing Up and Way Back Home. After his being involved in Andi Eigenmann's pregnancy, a lot of people threw negative remarks to the young actor. But whether his haters like it or not, it made Albie more famous as a celebrity.

Albie Casiño

He was gone for a while before we saw him on a Maalaala Mo Kaya episode to the delight of his fans. He was also quite visible during the recent Star Magic Sportsfest. And now that talks about Andi's pregnancy is starting to fade, news about Albie Casiño starring in a soap surfaces.

The soap is a TV remake of the 1980 movie Problem Child which starred Cherie Gil and Lloyd Samartino. It's not yet clear, though, if Albie will be playing Lloyd's role or a male version of Cherie's. One thing is quite certain, though, that we'll see a different (read: sexier) Albie in this series.

For the first time since the pregnancy news broke out, Andi Eigenmann answered questions about her pregnancy.

When asked about her pregnancy, Andi said, "Okay naman po. Thank you."

But how is she coping with working long hours on the set of Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin? "Okay naman po. Hindi po ako nahihirapan. The staff and crew and the production are giving me the right amount of protection and care that I need at sinusuportahan nila ako dito," the pregnant actress said.

The show is said to be coming to its finale soon and the production team as well as the stars are all busy taping the final episodes.

Andi Eigenmann, who will give birth before the year ends, also expressed her thanks to her supporters for continuing to love her despite what happened.

Despite being vocal about the state of her pregnancy, Andi and her family are still mum about the identity of the baby's father.

"Growing Up" Teasers feat Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo

ABS-CBN has released a teaser for their upcoming youth-oriented show, Growing Up. The two videos show main stars Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo talking animatedly about their growing up experiences.

Julia and Kathryn will again be together in one show after their hit tandem in Mara Clara. But they're not gonna make us cry this time. They will actually act their age on the new show and worry about boys and other stuff teenagers go through.

Growing Up is said to replace Good Vibes on its Sunday afternoon timeslot. Good Vibes, a teen drama with focus on dance, is ending next month (August).

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN is also giving Julia and Kathryn their launching movie. Sam Concepcion will be Julia's loveteam. He replaced AJ Perez who passed away last April. Kathryn's supposed loveteam, Albie Casiño, was also recently replaced by Enrique Gil. Albie had also been pulled out of Growing Up due to his involvement in  the issue of Andi Eigenmann's pregnancy.

Enrique Gil Replaces Albie Casiño in the Kathryn Bernardo-Julia Montes Launching Movie

Albie Casiño's showbiz career seems to gloom with the controversy involving him with Andi Eigenmann's pregnancy. Even if Andi's camp doesn't name the young actor, saying alone that the father of her child is her first boyfriend drops the bomb. Of course, the public knows about their relationship and the bad breakup they went through recently.

What's more, clearing the name of the other person (read: Jake Ejercito) suspected of being the father of Andi's unborn only confirmed that the 17-year-old Albie, indeed, was the father.

The controversy has resulted into Albie's being pulled out from the projects that he was supposed to do. He is not anymore part of the upcoming Growing Up, and he was pulled out from the Julia Montes-Kathryn Bernardo launching movie.

Was it some sort of a punishment given to him by ABS-CBN? Or were they just afraid people wouldn't support the young actor anymore because of his involvement in the controversy?

enrique, albie

Enrique Gil was reported to replace Albie in the Julia-Kathryn launching movie. His Good Vibes co-star Sam Concepcion is also in the movie as a replacement for AJ Perez who passed away in a tragic vehicular accident last April.

The original leading men are out. Of course, we don't wanna say that the movie is doomed and would like to think that it's just really not meant to be. But what do you think of the Julia Montes-Sam Concepcion love team? How about the Kathryn Bernardo-Enrique Gil team-up?

It's really sad that Albie Casiño is now out of the movie because the tandem had already developed a fan base from their Mara Clara days. Let's just hope, and I'm sure Albie's fans would agree with this, that the young actor would be given another chance, whether as Kathryn's love team or not.

Spotted: Pregnant Andi Eigenmann at the Preview Best Dressed Ball 2011

Andi Eigenmann was seen in public for the first time after her mother, Jaclyn Jose, confirmed the rumors about her pregnancy. She attended the Preview Best Dressed Ball last night, July 8, 2011, at the Seventh High in Fort.

Above photo shows Andi with comedian Vice Ganda.

Almost five months pregnant, Andi still looked gorgeous in her champagne-colored long dress by Sassa Jimenez.

She seemed so different from the carefree Andi we're used to see in pictures. But just 21 years old, I'm sure she'd be back with her youthful glow after giving birth.

As to who the father of her baby is still remains a question. But, of course, it's Andi's choice whether to let the public know about it or not.

Andi Eigenmann Breaks Her Silence

Andi Eigenmann, who had been so mum about her pregnancy (which was announced on national TV by her mother Jacklyn Jose), finally broke her silence over Twitter to protect Jake Ejercito who has become the center of speculations as the father of Andi's child.

Andi took to Twitter to stop the rumors by saying: “For your better understanding, I've only had one boyfriend before Jake whom I've only been seeing for the past 2 months. Therefore, Jake cannot be the said ex-boyfriend whom everyone has been talking about. #commonsense.”

It can be noted that Jaclyn Jose told TV Patrol that the father of Andi's child is the latter's first boyfriend who left her when he learned that Andi was pregnant.

And if it's not Jake Ejercito, then it leaves Albie Casiño to be speculated upon. But is Albie really Andi's first boyfriend? And if he was, why can't they point his name in the interviews?

Andi and Albie got into a much-publicized breakup last May 2011. Albie accused the young actress of being a cheater through his Formspring account. Andi, though, accused him of hitting her, which, the young actor denied.

Currently, Albie had been pulled out of ABS-CBN's upcoming show Growing Up. Too bad.

Andi Eigenmann is 18 Weeks Pregnant!

Andi Eigenmann is indeed pregnant! That's according to her mom, award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose, in an interview with ABS-CBN's TV Patrol on June 29, 2011.

A teary-eyed Jaclyn Jose faced the camera to confirm her daughter's pregnancy. "I just want to tell everyone that yes it's true, my daughter is pregnant," said the actress who took a break from taping an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya in Antipolo to talk to Mario Dumawal, the evening news' showbiz correspondent.

Andi, who turned 21 just last June 25, is exactly 18 weeks and 2 days pregnant as of the interview. And to the questions as to who the father of the baby is, Jaclyn said that it was Andi's first boyfriend. "Wala na sila no'n. Iniwanan s'ya no'ng nabuntis s'ya. (They're not together anymore. He left her when she got pregnant.) I don't wanna talk about him anymore. Wala akong hinihiling sa kanila, ni ayaw ko silang makita. (I'm not asking for anything from them, I don't even want to see them.)"

Last May, news about Andi's breakup with 18-year-old Albie Casiño were all over the internet and the tabloids. If Andi is 18 weeks pregnant now, she was already about 12 weeks pregnant when the break-up happened. Could Albie be the one Jaclyn Jose was referring to?

In a Formspring statement last month that made their break-up more sensationalized, Albie was quoted as saying, "So much bullshit. I never hit her. Maybe one of her many boys did. Andi's a cheater kasi she has maybe 10 guys" when asked if he really did hit Andi physically.

But then again Andi was rumored to also be dating Jake Ejercito, the son of the former president Joseph Estrada with actress Laarni Enriquez.

Andi is currently one of the leads in the television series Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin where she plays one of the leading ladies of Coco Martin. She is also tapped to play the role of Galema in the tv adaptation of the 80s komiks novel Galema, Ang Anak ni Zuma.

We first saw Andi in 2007's afternoon soap Prinsesa ng Banyera. She then became a "house player" in Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus in 2008, and a MYX VJ Search finalist in 2009.

ABS-CBN launched her via 2010's Agua Bendita, the series that made her a household name. It was followed by starring in 8 episodes of the weekly series Your Song.

Jaclyn Jose, as a mother would do, asked a favor to the public, though – that her daughter not be judged by this mistake, and to give her another chance.
