The Black Eyed Peas Live in Manila Concert on October 25

Black Eyed Peas, the American hiphop group behind the hits Where is the Love, Let's Get it Started, Boom Boom Pow, and many more, are coming back to Manila for a concert on October 25, 2011 at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds. The concert is part of their The Beginning Massive Stadium Tour.

The multi Grammy award-winning group is composed of will.i.am (William Adams), Fergie (Stacy Ann Ferguson), Filipino apl.de.ap (Allan Pineda), and Taboo (Jaime Gomez).

We first heard about the BEP's Manila concert thru Harold Geronimo when he tweeted about it last month. He had the chance to talk to apl.de.ap when the rapper went home in between tour dates.

The BEP's Manila concert is the 2nd to the last in the tour. Brazil will be their last stop on November 12th.

Hot Hunks of the Cosmo Bachelor Bash 2011 [Photos]

The Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash 2011 was held Thursday night at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Ten centerfolds plus 69 other hunky bachelors paraded in their jeans and underwear.

The nautical-themed event was attended by mostly female and gay crowds. Celebrities like Michelle Madrigal, Divine Lee, fashion designer Rajo Laurel, and columnist Harold Geronimo were there. A lot of bloggers also attended the event.

Mario Maurer Fan Conference in Manila

Thai model and actor Mario Maurer will hold a fan conference in Manila next month as part of his endorsement of a local brand.

The 22-year-old half-German, half-Chinese's fan conference will be held at the PICC Plenary Hall on October 28, 2011. It will be sponsored by the local brand, Penshoppe, who has tapped the Thai superstar's services to be its next endorser.

I think the Pinoys will love Mario Maurer for Penshoppe even more than they loved Ed Westwick who is the current endorser of the brand. With his Asian good looks, I'm sure Mario will be closer to the hearts of Pinoys.

Watch Charice Perform "Star-Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America" During NFL's 9/11 Tribute Game [Videos]

Charice, as recently reported, was asked to sing the US National Anthem on the National Football League's 9/11 tribute game on September 11.

Despite the fact that Charice was not born in the US, her being chosen to sing the patriotic song during an important day for the Americans just shows how the 9/11 bombings affected not only America but the whole world as well.

2011 UAAP Cheerdance Competition Schedule and Tickets

The much-awaited 2011 UAAP Cheerdance Competition will be held on September 17 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. It will be aired live on Studio 23 and Balls HD at 3 PM to 6 PM.

Watch last year's winners – UP Pep Squad, FEU Cheering Squad, and UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe – battle it out with other universities for the 2011 title.

Tickets will be released at the Smart Araneta Coliseum's Yellow Gate on September 14 at 9 AM. Don't forget to bring your IDs for you should be enrolled at or an alumni of any of the participating schools in order to buy tickets.

Coco Martin and Matteo Guidicelli Figure in a Fight at the Star Magic Ball 2011

Coco Martin and Matteo Guidicelli figured in a fight at The Peninsula Manila during the Star Magic Ball 2011 held Saturday night.

Matteo reportedly left the hotel with a bleeding mouth courtesy of Coco's fist. Witnesses said, though, that it was Matteo who started the fight. The My Binondo Girl star allegedly choked Coco, which caused the latter to defend himself by punching Matteo.

Further reports said that the fight started when Matteo grabbed Coco by the back of his coat/shirt.

The name of Maja Salvador was immediately dragged into the issue. The pretty Thelma star and Matteo Guidicelli have been constantly linked to each other for sometime. Coco Martin, on the other hand, was Maja's leading man in the recently-concluded ABS-CBN drama, Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin. Talks about Matteo being jealous of Coco had circulated numerous times especially that Coco was vocal in expressing his admiration for Maja.

Meanwhile, on The Buzz, Maja talked to Boy Abunda about the incident and admitted she was the cause of it all. She also admitted for the first time that she and Matteo are in a relationship but confessed she doesn't know where their relationship would go after the incident at the Manila Pen.

On the question regarding what triggered the fight between the two actors, Maja refused to go into details, but said it's not true that Coco Martin kissed her on the lips during the after party at the hotel's Salon de Ning bar.

The Star Magic management already released a statement saying that Matteo Guidicelli and Coco Martin have already patched things up. “What happened was just a simple misunderstanding," the statement says. "Both Coco and Matteo are sorry it happened. Everything has been resolved.”

The Star Magic Ball 2011 is still the talk of the town hours after it was held at The Peninsula Manila in Makati City. Female Kapamilya stars strutted in their ball and evening gowns to the delight of the photographers and their fans who stayed up to catch the latest pics of their idols on Twitter and Facebook. Likewise, the male stars look dashing in their tuxedos.

Kristine Hermosa Shows Off Baby Bump at Star Magic Ball

Kristine Hermosa attended the Star Magic Ball ala Beyonce at the MTV Video Music Awards. Accompanied by husband Oyo Boy Sotto at the star-studded event held at the Manila Peninsula on Saturday, the beautiful actress wore a lacey evening gown with an unmistakable baby bump.

The "bump" is said to be 5 months on the way and the couple were so proud about it judging by the smile on their faces.

"Growing Up" Stars Attend the Star Magic Ball

ABS-CBN's Growing Up is set to air its pilot episode today, September 4, after ASAP Rocks. It replaces the recently-concluded Good Vibes.

Growing Up is topbilled by perhaps the hottest young dramatic actresses we have today – Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo of the Mara Clara fame. Also in the cast are Diego Loyzaga and Daniel Padilla as their respective leading men, plus Neil Coleta, Kiray Celis, Yen Santos, EJ Jallorina and Maricar Reyes. The teen-oriented show is directed by Lino Cayetano.

Andrea Corr's Philippine Concerts Postponed

In a status message on her Facebook page, Irish singer Andrea Corr expressed her apologies to her Filipino fans for having to postpone and reschedule her visit to the country.

About 5 minutes ago, Andrea Corr posted:

"I am really sorry that I have to postpone and reschedule my visit to the Philippines . I was very much looking forward to it and am more sorry to let you down . I shall make up for it when I do make it out there at a date in the not so distant future" X Andrea

"The Corrs" trended on Twitter (Philippines) early last month due to the said concert.

Andrea was supposed to hold two concerts in the country - at the Araneta Coliseum on October 16 and at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu on October 18.

The concerts are part of her Lifelines tour. Lifelines is her second solo album which was released as a digital download on May 29 and on CD on May 30.
