JM De Guzman Releases Self-Titled Debut Album

JM De Guzman has just launched his self-titled debut album which includes two of his own compositions – Carried Away and Give You the World. Now that's something to get the talented young man busy after his soap Mula sa Puso ends tomorrow, August 12.

The rest of the songs in the album are revivals which include Pagdating ng Panahon, Out of My League, Bizarre Love Triangle, Collide, Kiss Me, True, Yakap sa Dilim, Sa May Bintana, Nothing Compares To You, and the acoustic version of his own composition Carried Away. The album is released under Ivory Records.

Expect JM De Guzman to come to the mall near you for an album mall tour. I'm sure the events would be flocked by fans, girls and boys alike.

"Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank" Begins Commercial Run Today

Today is the first day of Ang Babae sa Septic Tank's commercial release after being exhibited at the Cinemalaya Film Festival 2011. The movie won five (5) awards at the said film festival including Audience Choice Award, Best Film, Best Director (Marlon Rivera), Best Screenplay (Chris Martinez), and Best Actress (Eugene Domingo).

It is the first Best Actress award coming from a comedy film in Cinemalaya's entire run. Back in 2008, Eugene also won the first Best Supporting Actress award for the movie 100. Cinemalaya didn't have Best Supporting Actress category prior to Eugene's win.

Ang Babae sa Septic Tank also stars Kean Cipriano, JM De Guzman, and Cai Cortez with Mercedez Cabral and Cherry Pie Picache.

"Gandang Gabi Vice" Episode Teaser

Gandang Gabi Vice has been keeping our Sunday nights full of laughter with Vice Ganda's combination of wit and humor.

This Sunday, July 31, the episode will be extra fun as good looking, young actors grace the show. Enrique Gil, JM De Guzman, and Enchong Dee joins Vice in a funny (and a little naughty) conversation.

Singer-comedienne Marisa Sanchez and Frenchie Dy will also add more laughs as they get into an uninhibited conversation with the host.

"Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank" in Regular Theaters Starting August 3

The Eugene Domingo-starrer Ang Babae sa Septic Tank will be shown in regular theaters on August 3, 2011. The movie is an official Cinemalaya 2011 entry where it won several awards including Audience Choice Award, Best Film, Best Director (Marlon Rivera), Best Screenplay (Chris Martinez), and Best Actress (Eugene Domingo).

The movie also stars Kean Cipriano, JM de Guzman, and Cai Cortez with Mercedez Cabral and Cherry Pie Picache.
