Winners of the Star Magic Ball 2011 Special Awards

The Star Magic Ball 2011 is still the talk of the town hours after it was held at The Peninsula Manila in Makati City. Female Kapamilya stars strutted in their ball and evening gowns to the delight of the photographers and their fans who stayed up to catch the latest pics of their idols on Twitter and Facebook. Likewise, the male stars look dashing in their tuxedos.

But, of course, there were those who stood out from the rest, and that's where the Star Magic Awards 2011 was there for.

"Gandang Gabi Vice" Episode Teaser

Gandang Gabi Vice has been keeping our Sunday nights full of laughter with Vice Ganda's combination of wit and humor.

This Sunday, July 31, the episode will be extra fun as good looking, young actors grace the show. Enrique Gil, JM De Guzman, and Enchong Dee joins Vice in a funny (and a little naughty) conversation.

Singer-comedienne Marisa Sanchez and Frenchie Dy will also add more laughs as they get into an uninhibited conversation with the host.

"Maria la del Barrio" Premieres August 15

Watch the extended trailer of Maria la del Barrio which is around 4 minutes long. The Erich Gonzales-starrer is going to premiere August 15, 2011 on ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida.

The series is based on the Mexican telenovela of the same title which starrred Thalia.

Enchong Dee plays the leading man (Luis Fernando) in the series. Others in the cast include Angel Aquino as Victoria, Ian Veneracion as Don Fernando, Paw Diaz as Soraya, Inno Martin as Vladimir, K Brosas as Carlota, Justin Gonzales, Tricia Santos, and Katya Santos as Chacha, with the special participation of Ai-Ai de las Alas as Casilda.

"Maria la del Barrio" Airs August 2011

ABS-CBN is finally airing the Erich Gonzales-Enchong Dee starrer Maria la del Barrio next month, August 2011, on Primetime Bida. The series is based on the Mexican telenovela of the same title which starred Thalia.

Jake Cuenca Reunites with Coco Martin in "Ang Huling El Bimbo"

Jake Cuenca is in the cast of ABS-CBN's upcoming soap opera, Ang Huling El Bimbo. He will be working with Coco Martin, Enchong Dee, Enrique Gil, and Martin Del Rosario.

Jake and Coco have worked before in the hit tv series Tayong Dalawa where they were joined by their good friend Gerald Anderson. Jake said the bond that the three of them had shared during their Tayong Dalawa days was so different that they really wish they would have a chance to work together again. Jake was vocal in saying that he wishes ABS-CBN would also put Gerald in this project.

The 24-year-old Filipino-Spanish actor's last soap was Green Rose where he played the role of Edward Fuentebella. He also had a special participation in the current Guns and Roses.

His last movie, In the Name of Love, was successful, that's why we shouldn't be surprised if he's given more shows by his mother network.
