Arjohn Gilbert Wows National TV, Trends on Twitter

Arjohn Gilbert, the singing flute vendor in the grounds of Puregold Clark, was one of Vice Ganda's guests in last night's episode of Gandang Gabi Vice. He performed Justin Bieber's Baby, Bruno Mars' Just the Way You Are,  and Bugoy Drillon's Paano Na Kaya to the delight of Filipino viewers. So much so that he became a trending topic (Philippines) on Twitter.

Arjohn became popular through YouTube, when somebody posted a video of him singing in the grounds of Puregold Clark. He has already been featured on GMA-7 show Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho and some of his wishes were granted thru Wish Ko Lang. (RELATED POST)

Vice Ganda is Not Dead

Vice Ganda is not dead, as opposed to the rumor that started on Twitter last Monday.

A certain @TADO_jimenez (a Twitter account which is not owned by the comedian Tado) started the rumor with his tweet: “OMG! VICE GANDA meet a car accdnt in HK& ddn’t survive the crash just today cnfirmd by pep.ph RIP VICE!”

Vice Ganda indeed went to Hong Kong with friends Kris Aquino and Liz Uy. The ace comedian was also not in Showtime last Monday that's why many believed car crash hoax.

The "unkabogable" Showtime judge, though, appeared on the show Tuesday, belying the rumors.

He also faced the media and said, “Safe na safe ako at magandang-maganda pa rin po ako. Unkabogable po ako at hindi pa po ako mamamatay. Marami pa akong pasisiyahin na mga tao kaya dire-direcho pa rin ang happiness natin."

Vice also said he doesn't believe that Tado is behind the Twitter account where the hoax started. He believed that it is just a poser.

Gandang Gabi Vice has been keeping our Sunday nights full of laughter with Vice Ganda's combination of wit and humor.

This Sunday, July 31, the episode will be extra fun as good looking, young actors grace the show. Enrique Gil, JM De Guzman, and Enchong Dee joins Vice in a funny (and a little naughty) conversation.

Singer-comedienne Marisa Sanchez and Frenchie Dy will also add more laughs as they get into an uninhibited conversation with the host.

"I Dare You: The Kapamilya Challenge" Soon on ABS-CBN

I Dare You: The Kapamilya Challenge is a new reality show from ABS-CBN that will challenge the ability and courage of celebrities to take on real life roles of an ordinary person. To be hosted by Jericho Rosales, Iya Villania, and Melai Cantiveros, the show reminds me of GMA News TV's Day-Off where the hosts take on blue collar jobs for a day.

I Dare You: The Kapamilya Challenge is the Philippine franchise of AXN's I Dare You: The Ultimate Challenge. News about this new show broke out on the latter part of 2010, and a teaser (featuring Kim Chiu) has been shown as early as December last year.

A newer teaser, though, shows more Kapamilya stars like Gab Valenciano, Vice Ganda, Jason Abalos, and Ryan Bang, among others. It even still shows Alessandra de Rossi who has just recently transferred to GMA-7.
