Lovi Poe on FHM Philippines Sept 2011 Cover

FHM Philippines September 2011 issue has the sexy Lovi Poe on the cover. Fresh from the success of Temptation Island and topbilling the upcoming My Neighbor's Wife, the dusky actress donned a two-piece swimsuit and posed with an elephant in a location shoot in Thailand.

Lovi Poe stars with Jake Cuenca, Dennis Trillo and Carla Abellana in My Neighbor's Wife which will drop September 14, 2011. The movie is written and directed by Jun Lana.

Meanwhile, FHM Philippines September 2011 is available in leading magazine stands nationwide for only P150.

Carla Abellana, Dennis Trillo, Jake Cuenca Together Again in a New Movie

After My Neighbor's Wife, Carla Abellana, Dennis Trillo and Jake Cuenca will again work together in a movie project titled Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow which will be an official entry to the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival.

It would have been fun if Lovi Poe would also be in the project but her inclusion hasn't been confirmed yet. Word is that "she might."

This Regal Entertainment and Studio 5 co-production will also star Kapamilya actor Jericho Rosales and Kapatid actress Ritz Azul.

The movie is a remake of the 1986 film by Emmanuel Borlaza. It originally starred Vilma Santos, Snooky Serna and Maricel Soriano. Gabby Concepcion and Richard Gomez were the leading men.

Carla Abellana Gets Castigated During "My Neighbor's Wife" Presscon

One of My Neighbor's Wife's leads, Carla Abellana, was castigated during the movie's press conference Monday night, August 22, 2011.

Veteran showbiz columnist Mario Bautista confronted Carla about the e-mail she sent him regarding an article that was published in his column. The actress was allegedly misquoted in one part of the article and e-mail was to demand an erratum for that.

Mario Bautista reasoned that he only based his article on the publicity slant provided by Regal Entertainment, the producer of My Neighbor's Wife.

Lovi Poe also topbills Regal Entertainment's upcoming movie titled My Neighbor's Wife together with Dennis Trillo, Jake Cuenca, and Carla Abellana. It is set for release September 2011.

Marian Rivera Releases Official Statement Regarding Heart Evangelista Incident

Marian Rivera has released an official statement regarding the incident with Heart Evangelista through her manager, Popoy Caritativo.

Popoy sent this to Philippine Entertainment Portal:

“I have spoken with Marian earlier and we have decided that for the sake of peace and out of respect to GMA, she will no longer speak about this incident so that the issue can be put to rest.

"She has already said her piece on this matter before and has already moved on from it.

"Although it’s hard for her to remain silent, she knows that there are times that peace is the better option. So she chooses peace.

"And she hopes that her supporters and fans would respect her decision. Marian sends them her love and gratitude. Thank you."

Marian is opting to keep mum about the issue believing that it would eventually fade if she did so. She chooses not to belie Heart's accusation that she (Marian) shouted at and threatened her.

Let's just hope that Lovi Poe, who was said to be the one who saw what happened, speaks out about it.

Marian, Heart, and Lovi are all in the cast of Temptation Island. It was in the filming of the said movie where the shouting incident happened.

Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino Star in "Mistaken Identity"

Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino star in a four-part romantic drama special titled Mistaken Identity.

Mistaken Identity was shot in an island in Ilocos. It is about an aspiring travel writer in search of her first big story but found love instead.

The mini-series also stars Gloria Diaz and Luis Alandy, under the direction of Topel Lee.

The series will air on four Saturdays beginning tomorrow, July 23, at 11 AM, right before Eat Bulaga! only on GMA-7.

Jake Cuenca, Lovi Poe, Dennis Trillo, and Carla Abellana star in the upcoming Regal Entertainment movie titled My Neighbor's Wife.

Produced by Regal Entertainment, My Neighbor's Wife is written and directed by the award-winning Jun Lana.

It is a story about love, lies, and betrayal. The trailer shows a lot of sexy scenes between the main casts.

Lovi Poe, it seems, has been doing a lot of sexy roles lately. With the body and the acting prowess to go with it, I bet she'd be one of the Philippine cinema's gem in the future. Just like her father, the late Fernando Poe, Jr.

Meanwhile, Jake Cuenca is the only Kapamilya among the Kapuso stars in the main cast. The Filipino-Spanish actor plays the role of Carla Abellana's husband, who has an indecent affair with Lovi Poe. Lovi, on the other hand, is wife to Dennis Trillo who is having an affair with Carla Abellana.

Heart Evangelista vs Marian Rivera?

Marian Rivera and Heart Evangelista are reportedly not in good terms as of late. There are speculations, though, that this rumor was just made up to make people talk more about Temptation Island which is showing July 6th.

But the speculations that it was just a publicity stunt were somehow proved wrong when Heart's mother reportedly shouted angrily at Marian at the Manila airport while the actresses were on their way home from a shooting in Ilocos Norte last June 13th. Cecile Ongpauco, Heart's mother, allegedly even brought bodyguards for Heart, and when the Kapuso Primetime Queen tried to approach Heart to say goodbye, the mother angrily shouted, "Stay away from my daughter!" not knowing that the Temptation Island actresses have patched things up even before they left Ilocos Norte.

Mrs. Ongpauco allegedly threw more angry words at Marian which caused the pretty actress to cry.

There are many versions as to what caused the feud. Some say it started when Heart's boyfriend, Daniel Matsunaga, expressed his interest in working with Marian Rivera. It allegedly continued to Heart talking about how she couldn't wait to work with Marian's boyfriend, Dingdong Dantes, while Marian was within earshot.

It sounds like a petty little quarrel blown up by write-ups that is typical of a promotional stunt. But if the airport incident is really true, I think this issue would hurt Heart Evangelista the most, especially if the other version of the story was true.

The other version
The feud allegedly really started when Heart saw Marian talking with their co-star Lovi Poe and suspected that the two were talking maliciously about her. Heart allegedly called her mother about it and that's the reason why Mrs. Ongpauco was so mad at the airport. Little did she know that her daughter and Marian had already patched things up even before leaving Ilocos Norte.

If the last "version of the story" is true, I think it's Heart Evangelista's fault not to "notify" her mother as soon as possible that she and Marian were already okay. Had she told her mom about it sooner, no airport scene would have been created.

"Temptation Island" – Full Trailer

GMA Films and Regal Entertainment, Inc. have just released the full trailer of the much awaited remake of Joey Gosiengfiao's Temptation Island which will hit theaters July 6, 2011 nationwide.

The movie stars Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, Solenn Heussaff, Rufa Mae Quinto, Aljur Abrenica, Tom Rodriguez, and Mikael Daez. John Lapus plays the role of the pageant host.
